The wolves are hungry. The one you feed determines your life’s course.
I heard a story that I thought worth sharing. It’s called “Two Wolves”.
An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy.

“A fight between two wolves. One is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”
Grandfather simply replied, “The one I feed.”
Artwork thanks to ridingwiththewindowdown.comI’ve found this to be the truth & it’s amazing the way it works. When someone says something to or about me that is hurtful & untrue, I can get focused on the pain of it, which can spiral into negativity veryquickly, & often without realizing it. The key is to continually check in with my feelings to see if they’re creating thoughts that pollute me & cause me to act in ways that do not serve my highest good. Once identified, I can course correct. I know I’m in the right spot when peace returns & I’m able to feel a sense of gratitude about my life, no matter what the circumstances. This shift can happen quicker than you might think. Simply determine:
Which wolf will you feed today?

I’d like to give a correct attribution for this story, but have found many variations – from Cherokee Legend to an adaptation
of a Billy Graham story. If you have actual proof of the origin, please let me know.
